Examples: 1.Have Music, Will Travel! Embark on a musical voyage from Ohio to Carnegie Hall, Paris and Latin America with professional flautist Katherine Calvey. Take a musical & visual voyage with classically trained professional musician, Katherine Calvey, as she returns to her hometown of Cleveland after performing as a concert musician in over 18 countries! From Ohio, to Carnegie Hall, onto Paris through South America and back; she is delighted to perform music from around the world on her flute for you, accompanied by slides of beautiful international scenery. The audience will be invited to share some of their own travel stories and perhaps try their hand at the bongos as well as sing along. 2. Fiesta, Fun & Flute! "Viva México" with Cleveland born musician who resided and served long term as the principal flutist in several professional Mexican symphony orchestras. Fiesta & sing along while learning about Cinco de Mayo & Mexico's Sept. Independence Day celebrations. 3. English Airs & Dances Feel like royalty as professional classical musician Katherine Calvey, will play a set of English Airs and Dances on the flute accompanied by a historical sounding backing track of instruments such as the harpsichord. Learn about the history of these rarely heard compositions and composers from the late 16th - 18th Centuries all set to lovely slides of some of England's castles near London taken during Ms. Calvey's recent trip to the UK to have performed at Royal Albert Hall London 4. A Woodwind's Wonderful Winter Takes the audience through time via music with a Winter Theme. Flutist Katherine Calvey will perform a timeline of music in chronological order from Gregorian Chant, Renaissance, Medieval, Baroque, Classical, Romantic up to modern times. Audience will be welcome to sing along too!
